My Sunday Selection – Sean Carroll: Distant time and the hint of a multiverse

Starting this week, I wanted to share with you some of the more thought-provoking media I come across each week.

My first selection is from the TED Conference at Caltech in 2011. Hope you enjoy.

  1. The soundtrack to Beat Street contains material from more artists
considered to be tops in the proverbial who’s who of hip hop including
Arthur Baker, Jazzy Jay, and of course Bambaataa and
Melle Mel. This is a software that actually works via the internet, and can be utilized via web browsers
by its customers. His fanbase and influence stretches beyond national borders and his music will,
no doubt, continue to endear and amaze listeners for
many years to come. Here you have a list of all the instruments already included with the
program, to which you can add loops, more instruments and
    so on.
